On the beach of Toroni, a few meters from Jolanda’s House is located our Beach Bar, where you can enjoy your coffee and your drink, overlooking the Toroneos Gulf. The bar is open from early morning until late at night.

The bar serves coffee, soft drinks, ice creams, drinks and many cocktails.

We are open from May 1st until October 1st.

History of Sithonia

Sithonia is a peninsula located south of the central part of Chalkidiki which is also in the south-central part of the Chalkidiki peninsula. The Kassandra Peninsula lies to the west and the Mount Athos peninsula at the east. Sithonia is also a municipality, covering the Sithonia peninsula.
Gulfs that surround the peninsula are the Singitic Gulf to the west and the Toronean Gulf to the east.
The mountain Itamos or Dragoudelis is in the center of the peninsula.


Amongst the many places in Sithonia is the ancient city, the castle and the church of Agios Athanasios in Toroni, the windmills in Sikia and the 16th century church in Nikiti. Porto Koufo, is the largest and safest natural harbor in Greece, which is mentioned by Thucydides as “hollow harbor”; it appears to be the fishing spot in the area.

Beaches in Sithonia

S outh, from the harbors exit there is Kartalia, the most southern part of Sithonia, a very impressive area which puts its visitors under a spell with its rocky secluded beaches.
Known for their natural beauty are the beaches Azapiko, Tristinika, Korakas, Marathias, Kalamitsi, Kriaritsi. All the villages cover the peninsula mainly in the central and the southern portions.

Toroni Halkidiki – Geographic information

Toroni is a village with dreamy sunsets in the west of the Sithonia peninsula of Chalkidiki.

The main occupation of the inhabitants are tourism, as well as agriculture and fishing. Toroni shows intense tourist development. The distance of the village of Neos Marmaras is 23 km.

Toroni – History

Visitors of Toroni can reach the ancient village of Toroni. It is located at the end of the Toronis coast on a small hill overlooking the beach. A second attraction is the Byzantine church of Agios Athanasios.

Following the coast Tristinika and Toroni, visitors can reach the resort of Porto Koufos. This settlement has also been developed in recent years and there is a marina for boats and other vessels. Outside the port, which is the largest and safest in Northern Greece we can find Kartalia location with its rocky shores.
